Regional law firm, GA Solicitors, has rewarded two key members of staff following their outstanding contributions to the firm.
Technology expert, Steve Turner, has been promoted to IT & facilities director. Steve has been with the firm for nearly 20 years and over this time has been integral to the smooth running of GA’s essential practice management systems. Most recently, Steve oversaw and led significant investment into the firm’s telephone and IT systems, allowing for flexible and home working without compromising on client service. Steve initially joined GA as the IT manager before being promoted to IT & facilities manager in 2013.
Commercial property solicitor, Hannah Madders, has been promoted to associate. She joined GA in 2018 from a local firm after qualifying as a lawyer in 2015 and having completed a Master’s Degree in International Business Law.
Hannah advises both businesses and private individuals on all aspects of commercial property work, including landlord and tenant matters and property sales and purchases. She is also a member of our specialist property finance team, acting for GA’s commercial lender clients.
Commenting on his promotion, Steve Turner said: “This has been a transformational year for the firm in many ways and technology has helped to solve a number of issues especially with the increased need for flexibility. The firm has made significant investments to keep client service levels high and our lawyers and support staff have really embraced change in a positive way.
“I’m pleased to be recognised for my contribution in such a huge team effort and look forward to continuing my role at GA.”
Managing partner David Wallis added: “Hannah and Steve are tremendous examples of our RISE commitment to Resolve, Innovate, Serve and Excel. In a tumultuous time, Steve has been a steady pair of hands supporting and building upon our existing IT infrastructure, whilst Hannah is always willing to go the extra mile for both her clients and colleagues at GA.
“The partners and I are delighted to reward them for their commitment and give them both an enhanced platform to fulfill their potential.”
